Law & the Environment

This course critically examines the legal and social dimensions of environmental law in Canada. Topics may include the technical aspects of regulatory law; the intersections of civil, criminal, and environmental law; the ethics of environmentalism, aboriginal concepts of environmental rights and deep ecology, and global environmental movements and justice. Prerequisites: Registration status: senior student.
